A door that reverses just before it seats is the opener doing its job. Something is telling it the way is not clear.
Check the little lights
Both sensors have an indicator. If one is flickering or out, they are misaligned — usually a knock from a bike.
Then look at the track
A stone or a lump of ice at the bottom will do it too, and so will a badly set close-force.
